Building community power in the central mountain region

Thanks to The Colorado Health Foundation, Voces Unidas and 14 other Colorado nonprofits received investment awards through the foundation’s Equity Collective Initiative to support our existing and deeply rooted health equity and racial justice work.

The Initiative was designed to provide one-time investment awards to selected organizations – led by people of color – to advance health equity and build power in community through self-determined approaches, like creating endowments, building cash reserves, making real estate investments, increasing operational effectiveness and more.

Voces Unidas is grateful for this one-time award that will allow the organization to focus on our long-term impact as we continue to build and grow community power in the central mountain region.
